http://hellohowareyoumovie.com/Went to the premiere last night. For that, I have to thank my Screenwriting teacher, Mr Nic. He was the one with the invites. Later that evening, I found out that Alex Maftei, the movie's director, was his student at UNATC.
I liked it. A lot. I had no expectations. ok, that's more of a lie. I had one expectation, regarding the images. I expected them to be really good looking. And they were.
It was a very good looking movie. It was like discovering that someone is as pretty as it is smart. And funny, for that matter.
I enjoyed the sense of humor. It had sarcasm and it had youth. It was alive. There were people laughing their hurts out around me. I didn't, I admit. But that's because I take humor somehow differently: I see deep when there is funny. I take pleasure in discovering the under layers.
Maybe there weren't any in here. But I saw them anyhow. And enjoyed them a lot. I can not speak of this movie in terms of 'for a Romanian movie, it was...'. No. Because it was a good movie. No matter the origins.
It had lines, good ones and memorable lines, it had great image production and very good direction. It could be any city and I like that. It could be any family and I like that too. The actors' performance was a delight and the music, perfectly fine to my ears.
I experienced tears at the end. Don't know why.
I went out into the snow and drove home in/on my own two feet, laughing. I bought my first flowertoalover and HappyMealed form Mc a Star Wars sword.
Inspiration.
Now I want the stage. And a better dressed environment for the premieres.

ReplyDeletesă ştii că nu ai greşit cu reclama, dar mie mi s-au părut băgate foarte mişto părţile astea.
m-am simţit entertained şi avea şi o latură mişto, mai dramatică, mai bine dospită. mi-a plăcut sincronizarea şi unitatea: imagine, sunet, scenariu.

Și mie mi-a plăcut, mi s-a părut fresh, frutti fresh, fără acel gri care reiese din filmele care prezintă întâmplări din perioada comunistă. Nu mai au absolut niciun farmec pt mine.
ReplyDeleteĂsta, în schimb, a fost amuzant și realist. Și cred că o importanță imensă a avut muzica, a conturat f bine contextul.
Și acum o părere despre public: a fost ok atunci când sala a râs la replici ironice, la comicul de situație, dar păcat că mai tare s-a distrat la glumele cu tentă sexuală. Filmul vroia să zică mai mult de atât, era mai profund. Asta am mai văzut-o și la teatru, nu doar la film - la subtilități și ironii zâmbim, iar la o fază cu sâni și picioare lungi, ne hăhăim de nu mai putem.
Eu l-aș mai vedea o dată și îl recomand. Ah, și muzica o recomand o dată si-ncă o dată. :)
Da, cred ca si eu l-as mai vedea o data, daca nu pentru altceva, macar pentru unele replici de genul celor din patul de hotel. Si pentru trecerile simpatice de la un cadru la celalalt.
